Columbia Chemical has hired Curt Sotera as technical account manager with responsibility over Ohio and the Northeastern U.S. territory. He will focus on providing technical service, support and expertise to Columbia’s existing customers, OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the region.
Sotera brings 18 years of technical sales and service experience to the role and an extensive background in the surface finishing industry. He is no stranger to Columbia Chemical, having worked for the company from 2005 to 2013 in both technical field support and internal work in the service and quality control lab. While away, he gained experience as the general manager of a plating shop overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations, ranging from staffing and production to job quoting, wastewater compliance and customer satisfaction.
