Corrosion Testing Services

A2LA Accredited

Corrosion testing services evaluate how metals, coatings, and materials degrade under simulated environmental conditions to prevent field failures. Evaluating performance of coatings under close to real world conditions is an important factor for automotive companies and other industries.

Salt spray fog testing has long served as a common method to evaluate the corrosion resistance of coatings and surface treatments. The current direction for automotive OEMs now increasingly emphasizes cyclic corrosion testing (CCT) when approving coatings, chemistries, and finished components.

Columbia Chemical is proud to be accredited by A2LA to offer both salt spray fog testing and cyclic corrosion testing services.
