Oshkosh Plating completes certification training as part of Columbia Chemical’s Finisher’s Advantage

November 17, 2017

Members of the Oshkosh Plating Technologies team recently spent some time at Columbia Chemical for a certification training session on the COLSID AP zinc plating process. Certified were: Quality Manager Cory Schreiner, Chemist Seth Johnson and Quality Control Team Member Casey Radetski. Columbia Chemical Technical Support Rep Stephen Roberts led the OshKosh team through various troubleshooting scenarios and solutions. Radetski, who has spent three years running the lines at Oshkosh, commented that this certification “with its in-depth start to finish process of mixing the chemistry to create the bath, running the Hull cells and on the spot troubleshooting has been extremely helpful and created a great influx of knowledge to take back to the plant”. Quality Manager Schreiner added “this training will be extremely beneficial in helping us troubleshoot issues before we even run our first pass, speeding up our process and creating the best end result. Our customers will also reap benefits from our team being certified by Columbia Chemical.”
