We often receive inquiries regarding the consumption/replenishment rate of Trivecta Black Chromate 300 and Sealer 350. Below is practical information for controlling both the Trivecta Black 300 Chromate and Sealer 350 working solutions for both “rack” and “barrel” lines (based on 600 liter chromate & sealer tanks).
Typical Consumption- 600 Liter Chromate and Sealer (Rack Line)
Trivecta Black Chromate 310 A- 0.5-1.5 liters per hour
Trivecta Black Chromate 320 B- Not typically used
Trivecta Black Chromate 330 C- 0.25-0.5 liters per hour
Trivecta Black Sealer 350- 0.5-1.5 liters per hour
Typical Consumption- 600 Liter Chromate and Sealer (Barrel Line)
Trivecta Black Chromate 310 A- 6-8 liters per hour
Trivecta Black Chromate 320 B- Not typically used
Trivecta Black Chromate 330 C- Not typically used
Trivecta Black Sealer 350- 6-8 liters per hour
Each plating & chromating line is unique and has different drag-out rates and operating parameters. This information will help you set standard guidelines but the exact numbers will vary from line to line. Drag-out affects consumption/replenishment more than any other factor. Drag-out accounts for 95%+ of chromate and sealer loss.
