Olymco Lab Chemist Benefits from On-Site Training at Columbia Chemical

Yvonne Newsome of Olymco, Inc. recently spent some time at Columbia Chemical for a training session on the COLZINC ACF-II, NiCOL Level Bright and COLDIP TRI-V 200 UB Passivate.

Columbia Chemical Lab Chemist Mark Vandevender led Newsome through training on titrations for each product, running and evaluating hull cell panels, an overview of Columbia’s Quality Control and retain process and reporting, as well as various troubleshooting scenarios and solutions.

Newsome, who has worked at Olymco for the past year as a Lab Chemist and Health & Safety Director, appreciated the in-depth training: “the additional knowledge gained by this step-by-step training provides me with a big advantage in maintaining Olymco’s commitment to quality by keeping our plating baths operating at peak performance.”
