Congratulations on your Retirement – Dave Rinella

Today marks a significant moment in the history of Columbia Chemical with the retirement of our longest-term employee and Shipping Foreman, Dave Rinella. Dave has been with Columbia Chemical for 37 years and 2 months and to say he has been a pivotal part of our growth would be an understatement.

Dave was the fifth employee to join the Columbia team back in 1988 and he brought with him a work ethic that is unmatched. Though he spent most of his career leading our shipping department, his years of dedicated service included time in Production, QC lab, even help with

admin duties – learning many aspects of our business and helping shape Columbia into what it is today.

He is a great representation of someone who works hard and gets the job done. He has always taken pride in his role in helping to establish our reputation for leading the industry in shipping times, with an average 48-hour turnaround from order input/processing to leaving our docks for outbound shipping.

Dave has been a tremendous asset to Columbia, and we are thankful for all he has done and the impact he had on our company and on each and every one of us.

Please join us in thanking him for his 37 years of dedicated service and wishing him the best as he begins this exciting new chapter in his life.  It has been an honor to work with you Dave – we will miss you!
