These products offer a trivalent passivation layer that is clear, blue, yellow, black, or iridescent.

  • COLDIP® TZ 10

    COLDIP® TZ-10 is specifically designed and formulated for tin-zinc alloy. It operates over a wide range of alloy content, formulated to tolerate temperatures used in baking for hydrogen relief, and formulated to precipitate zinc and iron from the bath, preventing a decrease in performance. COLDIP® TZ-10 is an easy-to-use one-part system that provides over 1,000 hours to white corrosion and up to 1,500 hours to red corrosion when properly applied.

  • COLDIP® NI-Z CLEAR 100TP CFT

    COLDIP® NI-Z CLEAR 100TP CFT is a trivalent passivation for zinc-nickel alloy that yields a silver (clear) color with Cobalt Free Technology (CFT). It is operated under mild conditions that result in very low thickness loss during passivation and is a cost-effective alternative to high corrosion finishes.

  • COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 505 CFT

    COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 505 CFT is a unique trivalent chromium, cobalt-free black conversion coating for electroplated zinc-nickel alloy. It is a two-component system for simple operation that produces a uniform, gloss-black, scratch-resistant finish which achieves over 400 hours to white corrosion and over 1,000 hours to red rust when sealed with a Columbia Chemical sealer. COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 505 CFT works over a very wide nickel alloy content range of 11 – 17% and has been developed to reduce thickness loss during passivation and to reduce increases in nickel weight percent following passivation. COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 505 CFT is ideal for both rack and barrel installations using alkaline and acid zinc-nickel deposits.

  • COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 510

    COLDIP NI-Z BLACK 510 is a unique trivalent chromium black conversion coating for electroplated zinc-nickel alloy that produces a uniform, gloss-black, scratch-resistant finish. COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 510 achieves over 240 hours to white corrosion and over 1,000 hours to red rust when sealed with a Columbia Chemical sealer. It works over a very wide nickel alloy content range of 11 – 17% and was developed to reduce thickness loss during passivation and to reduce increases in nickel weight percent following passivation. COLDIP® NI-Z BLACK 510 is ideal for both rack and barrel installations using alkaline and acid zinc-nickel deposits.

  • COLDIP® NI-Z SAPPHIRE 400

    High-corrosion resistant bright blue trivalent passivate for use in the rapidly growing Zinc Nickel (ZnNi) electroplating Industry.  Imparts an aesthetically pleasing blue-bright conversion coating which, when applied properly, will produce a finish that exceeds 400 hours of neutral salt spray to white corrosion products.

  • COLDIP® NI-Z TRI BLUE 100

    COLDIP® NI-Z TRI BLUE 100 is a unique trivalent passivating conversion coating for electroplated zinc-nickel alloys. COLDIP® NI-Z TRI BLUE 100 will impart an aesthetically pleasing clear, colorless conversion coating which when applied properly will produce a finish that exceeds 250 hours of neutral salt spray to white corrosion products. COLDIP® NI-Z TRI BLUE 100 is operated under mild conditions that results in very low thickness loss during passivation and is a cost-effective alternative to high corrosion finishes. COLDIP® NI-Z TRI BLUE 100 when top coated with Zinc-Chro-SHIELD® will provide 500 hours to white corrosion products.

  • COLDIP® Ni-Z Clear 250

    Unique Trivalent passivating conversion coating for electroplated zinc-nickel alloys. Imparts an aesthetically pleasing clear, colorless conversion coating which when applied properly will produce a finish that exceeds 250 hours of neutral salt spray to white corrosion products.

    Economical trivalent blue passivation for use over zinc electroplated deposits. Operates at a low product concentration with high tolerance to trace impurities. Provides minimal corrosion resistance and does not contain cobalt.

  • COLDIP® TRI-V 120

    Trivalent blue passivation for use over zinc electroplated deposits needing medium to high corrosion resistance. Flexible operation allows for adjustable immersion time and product concentration. This product contains cobalt.

    High performance trivalent passivation for use over zinc electroplated deposits. Gives a slightly iridescent appearance and extremely high corrosion resistance. Wide operating ranges for ease of use and ambient operating temperature. This product contains cobalt.

  • COLDIP® MIDNIGHT 1500

    Latest generation trivalent black passivate for zinc plating. Easy-to-use process with a simple three-part system which allows for maximum color control and provides a consistent black appearance. The passivate works well over alkaline cyanide-free zinc and zinc-iron/cobalt alloy deposits.
